The recently announced DOOM: The Dark Ages has reignited interest in the franchise. Players are surprised to see how a once-nameless demon killer, stripped of identity, is now gaining a rich backstory, a personality, and even a mythological presence. What started as a classic sci-fi bloodbath on Mars has evolved into an epic war between angels, demons, and ancient civilizations. But how are all the DOOM games connected? Who is Doomguy—and who is the Doom Slayer? How did he become what he is now? And how does the new chapter, The Dark Ages, fit into the larger universe?
This is Gamer’s Galaxy—and together, we’re diving into the story from the very beginning: from 1993 to the new age.
Our story begins in the year 2022. The Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), a powerful transnational military conglomerate, is conducting teleportation experiments on Mars and its moons—Phobos and Deimos. But something goes horribly wrong. Volunteers entering the portals either disappear or return insane. Soon after, all contact with the Phobos base is lost. Then Deimos itself vanishes from orbit.
A squad of marines is dispatched to investigate. Among them is our protagonist—Doomguy. He was stationed on Mars after refusing to fire on civilians. During the drop on Phobos, his entire team is slaughtered almost instantly. Doomguy is left alone. With nothing but a pistol. Against Hell itself.
He fights through bases overrun by demons and possessed scientists, eventually reaching a portal. He steps through—into Hell. There, he faces wave after wave of monsters, including his first serious opponents: the Barons of Hell. After defeating them, he falls into a trap. Surrounded by hordes of demons, he’s overwhelmed and knocked unconscious.
When he wakes up, he realizes he’s on Deimos. But the moon now hangs directly above Hell — it has literally become part of the underworld. Here, Doomguy battles even more powerful monsters, including the Cyberdemon — a towering, cybernetic demon-beast. Defeating it reveals the horrific truth: Deimos has been completely absorbed into Hell.
He leaps from the tower and descends into the very heart of the inferno. There, he cuts his way through legions of demons and finally defeats the Spider Mastermind — a grotesque brain-demon with a mechanical spider body and a chain gun. Doomguy escapes Hell and returns to Earth… only to find it under attack. The demons came through while he was still fighting in Hell.
On a spike, he finds the head of his pet rabbit, Daisy. The war is far from over.
After escaping from Hell, Doomguy returns to Earth… and sees that it’s already lost. The planet lies in ruins. Cities have been obliterated. Demons are slaughtering everything in their path. The few survivors hide underground or escape to orbital stations. Civilization has collapsed. And once again, only one man stands between humanity and the apocalypse.
In DOOM II: Hell on Earth, the Slayer heads straight into the heart of the invasion. He fights through post-apocalyptic cities, military outposts, and eventually brings war back into Hell itself. Along the way, he encounters new, deadlier demons — Revenants, Mancubi, Arch-viles, and Hell Knights. The combat is fiercer than ever, and his arsenal grows to match. One weapon in particular becomes iconic: the Super Shotgun — a brutal double-barreled solution to the demon problem.
His mission: to destroy the Icon of Sin, a colossal demonic titan orchestrating the invasion. Doomguy fights through its defenses, breaks into its lair, and — in an unforgettable moment — blasts a rocket into the exposed brain of the titan, killing it from the inside out. Earth is saved. For now.
But Hell never sleeps.
What follows is Final DOOM — two unofficial but id Software–approved expansions: TNT: Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment. Though not part of the main narrative arc, these episodes expand the scope and theme of the DOOM universe.
In TNT: Evilution, UAC scientists build a new research base on one of Jupiter’s moons. Naturally, they open a portal to Hell — again. Doomguy, the sole survivor on the base, picks up his weapons and faces a fresh demonic outbreak.
In The Plutonia Experiment, UAC attempts to develop a quantum seal to permanently close the Hell portal. But an infernal priest destroys the seal, reopening the gates of Hell. And once again, only Doomguy can stop the flood.
These expansions, while loosely tied to the core DOOM storyline, drive home a single, central truth that echoes through the franchise: Hell doesn’t give up. It keeps coming back — reinventing itself with new horrors, new demons, and new ways to break humanity.
It’s an endless cycle of invasion, fear, and war.
But in every cycle… there is always one.
One man. One soldier. One will that says “no.”
One who stands between humanity and total annihilation.
And that’s enough to give hope.

DOOM 3 is not a direct sequel to the original trilogy — it’s a full reboot of the series. Released in 2004, the game reimagined the conflict between humanity and Hell in a darker, more cinematic, and narrative-driven way. Unlike the arcade-style chaos of the classic DOOMs, this version focused on horror, tension, and atmosphere.
The story takes place in the year 2145 on a UAC research facility on Mars. Scientists have developed teleportation technology and are conducting experiments between Mars and its moons. But during these experiments, they uncover ancient texts and artifacts that hint at the existence of another dimension — one filled with evil. Despite mounting warnings, the teleporters remain active… until one finally opens a gateway straight into Hell.
You play as a newly assigned Marine, arriving just as everything starts to fall apart. Demons begin massacring the station’s personnel. Unlike previous games, this time the story is told through immersive, interactive elements: audio logs, security cams, and emails. These tools help build tension and humanize the tragedy that’s unfolding around you.
he game’s central antagonist is Dr. Malcolm Betruger, the project’s lead scientist. Over time, it’s revealed that he’s made contact with demonic forces and deliberately orchestrated the portal’s opening. Eventually, he transforms into The Maledict, a monstrous creature who commands the invasion from within.
Throughout the campaign, players explore destroyed labs, engineering sectors, ancient alien ruins, and even Hell itself. Here, Hell is not just a mythical inferno — it’s a twisted, biomechanical dimension where flesh fuses with machinery and logic breaks down.
DOOM 3 is renowned for its high level of detail, haunting visual design, and audio direction that constantly keeps players on edge. The limited lighting and manual flashlight system intensify the fear of what’s lurking in the shadows.
The story climaxes with a battle against The Maledict. Though the player emerges victorious, the UAC facility lies in ruins, and the threat of Hell remains. Later expansions — Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission — continue the story, diving deeper into the consequences of the invasion.
Although DOOM 3 is not connected to the main Doom Slayer timeline, it holds weight as a standalone vision of the universe. It reinforces a fundamental truth across all versions of DOOM:
No matter the timeline, UAC always opens the door it shouldn’t.
And there’s always one man with a gun, ready to slam it shut.

After voluntarily remaining in Hell to prevent another invasion, Doomguy begins to change. His body, mind, and very soul transform over time — forged by rage, loss, and endless war. He stops being a man. He becomes something… else.
Eventually, fate casts him into another dimension: a realm called Argent D’Nur. It’s a world unlike any other — where magic and metal coexist, and entire civilizations wage war against Hell. In the modern DOOM mythos, this is known as the time of the Dark Ages — the era when the man became the myth, and the Slayer was born.
Argent D’Nur rose from chaos. Its people were hardened warriors, the Argenta, who built cities of stone and steel and learned to tame the beasts that once hunted them. Their world was forged when the World Spear pierced reality itself, unleashing the Elemental Wraiths — ancient beings of pure energy. From their scream, the Argenta were born. And among them was an elite order of protectors — the Night Sentinels.
It was the Night Sentinels who first encountered the nameless outsider — a stranger who had walked out of a demonic portal. To them, he was a savage: a brute who didn’t speak their language, who knew no rituals, and who seemed possessed by a single instinct — to destroy demons. They threw him into the arena.
He survived.
They sent him into certain death again.
He returned victorious.
With every battle, he earned their respect.
He eventually caught the eye of King Novik, who, despite fear and suspicion, offered the stranger a chance. The outsider trained with the Sentinels, learning their weapons, their tactics — but he never truly became one of them. He rejected their rituals and spoke little. Still, they gave him a name: The Slayer.
Soon came the Unholy Crusade. The legions of Hell poured into Argent D’Nur. The Slayer led from the front, cutting down demons with terrifying precision. He moved so quickly, so brutally, that even the Maykrs — angelic beings from the dimension of Urdak — began to take notice. Among demons, his legend grew. They whispered his names in fear: The Hellwalker, The Unchained Predator, The Beast.
His strength became myth. His presence alone inspired panic. The Argenta wrote songs about him. Demons carved warnings into walls. Even the proud Night Sentinels grew cautious of him. He didn’t fight wars — he erased them. He was no longer a man. He was vengeance incarnate.
And that’s when the Maykrs — led by Khan Maykr, ruler of Urdak — began to fear what they could not control.
Amidst the bloodiest era of the war against Hell, a figure emerges: the Seraphim Samur, an angelic Maykr observing the conflict on behalf of Urdak. He sees in the Slayer more than just a warrior — he sees a potential instrument to preserve balance across realms. Defying Urdak’s sacred laws and forbidden doctrines, Samur takes a risk: he leads the Slayer to the Divinity Machine — a mystical construct capable of transforming the soul, enhancing the body, and making a mortal into something far greater.
A trial that should have destroyed him only strengthens the Slayer. His mind is purged of fear. His body becomes faster, stronger, tireless. From that moment on, he is no longer a man — he is the Doom Slayer, living vengeance and armored myth.
Alongside his new identity comes a new weapon: the Crucible, an energy blade forged from pure Hell essence. This sword can cleave through the armor of titans, halt colossal monstrosities, and sever demonic portals. Doom Slayer returns to the front lines, destroying not only Hell’s warriors but its very architecture — fortresses, engines, and shrines. He becomes a living cataclysm. The Sentinels follow him. Demons flee from him. His name becomes a curse. And in this moment — as a cult of awe rises around him and his independence only grows — the Maykrs realize they’ve created something they cannot control.
Everything changes when the Maykrs, divine beings from the realm of Urdak, discover a method to convert Hell energy into Argent Energy. They strike a deal with the demons: in exchange for the souls of the damned, they gain access to power that sustains their rule and extends their existence. Khan Maykr, sovereign of the Maykrs, makes this decision not out of malice, but believing it the only way to preserve her kind. She convinces her people that Argent Energy is a divine gift necessary to maintain order. But in truth, it is a dire betrayal: she sells souls — including those of fallen Argenta — to fuel Urdak with suffering-born energy.
At the same time, the demons begin searching for the Heart of Argent, a mythical core of unimaginable power. Commander Tira, a general of the Sentinels, is revealed to be the bearer of a Wraith soul that fuels the Heart. When this is discovered, betrayal follows: one of the Maykrs — Kreed Maykr — hands her over to the demons in a bid for power.
The main antagonist of the Dark Ages is revealed: Ahzrak, a prince of Hell who launches a massive assault on Argent D’Nur. His aim is to seize Tira and extract the Wraith soul to permanently cripple the Sentinels. With Kreed’s betrayal, Tira is captured, and Ahzrak begins a dark ritual to consume her essence and end the war.
Doom Slayer, driven not only by rage but by duty, carves a path through legions of Hell, shattered fortresses, and infernal citadels to stop the ritual. He exposes Kreed’s treachery and confronts Ahzrak in a final battle. The demon prince, armed with a blade infused with infernal power, can bend space and obliterate the environment around him. Their clash takes place in the shattered shrine that once held the Heart of Argent.
The victory is hard-earned. Slayer succeeds in interrupting the ritual, slays Ahzrak, and frees Tira’s soul. But in doing so, he destroys the Heart of Argent and destabilizes the balance between Urdak, Argent D’Nur, and Hell. With the collapse of the energy nexus, the realm begins to fracture. The game ends with the Slayer walking away from the ruins — toward the next war. Toward what he does best
But his growing independence and destructive potential alarm Khan Maykr. Slayer becomes a force that can no longer be guided or restrained. Later, under the guise of a new mission or ceremonial event, the Maykrs lure him into Urdak’s sanctum. There, against his will, a built-in command failsafe — the Tether — is activated through his armor. Paralyzed, he is sealed inside a sarcophagus — a construct designed by the Maykrs for eternal imprisonment.
The sarcophagus is placed deep within The Well, the very energy core that once sustained Argent power. There the Slayer lies dormant, a forgotten relic of an ancient war… until, centuries later, in another time and another world, he is rediscovered by a UAC expedition.
Thus ends Doom: the Dark Ages — and a new era begins: DOOM (2016).

The Doom Slayer — sealed within a sarcophagus, deep in the heart of The Well — remains outside of time. Until, inevitably, humanity makes the same fatal mistake again. The Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC), now more powerful than ever, begins experimenting with Argent Energy on Mars under the direction of a cybernetically preserved scientist — Dr. Samuel Hayden.
Desperate for a limitless energy source, Hayden and his team open a portal to Hell and begin extracting Argent Energy directly from the infernal dimension. The UAC justifies this act as progress — but in doing so, they once again break the barrier between worlds.
Then, they find it: a relic deep in Hell, radiating immense power — the Slayer’s sarcophagus. Hayden immediately orders it brought to Mars. He doesn’t fully understand what lies inside, but he knows one thing: it once stopped Hell.
As the UAC continues its research, one of its own — Dr. Olivia Pierce — becomes corrupted by Hell’s influence. She forms a cult within the corporation, disables the Argent Energy filters, and unleashes a Hell Wave across the facility, turning most of the staff into possessed monsters. The demons invade.

As the station falls into chaos, Hayden makes a last-ditch move: he activates the sarcophagus. The Slayer awakens. He shatters his bindings, dons the Praetor Suit, and begins his work. He needs no orders, no explanation. The mission is clear — rip and tear.
Fighting through hordes of demons across the UAC facility, the Slayer retrieves his weapons — including the iconic Super Shotgun, Plasma Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and eventually, the BFG-9000. He is aided by VEGA, an advanced AI created by Hayden, who tracks Pierce’s movements and analyzes demonic incursions in real time. VEGA acts as a strategic guide, adapting to the Slayer’s pace and helping him navigate the technological-hellscape Mars has become.

Pierce’s goal becomes clear: she intends to use the Argent Tower, a massive beacon, to permanently stabilize a portal to Hell. Despite Hayden’s requests to preserve the tower, the Slayer ignores protocol and obliterates it — sending the portal into chaos. But Pierce escapes into Hell through a ritual, and the Slayer follows without hesitation.

In Hell, the Slayer discovers the Slayer Testaments — ancient stone carvings that recount his own legend. They describe him as a prophesied destroyer of Hell, a force beyond comprehension. These revelations only strengthen his resolve.
Once again, the Cyberdemon stands ready — just in time to get wrecked by the Slayer.
Returning to Mars, the Slayer learns that to sever the portal once and for all, he must destroy The Well — the energy nexus powering Hell’s access to Mars. But to do so, he needs the Crucible, a legendary sword capable of controlling Argent Energy. He battles through Hell’s core and confronts a resurrected Cyberdemon, enhanced with Argent tech. Their battle spans dimensions: the first round on Mars, the second in Hell.

With the Crucible recovered, the Slayer frees the three Wraiths — ancient beings imprisoned and used to anchor the Well. Their liberation destabilizes the portal, but one last obstacle remains: Olivia Pierce, now transformed into the horrific Spider Mastermind.
The final battle is brutal. Pierce’s mutated form wields advanced Hell-tech weaponry, creating a deadly hybrid of demon and machine. But the Slayer prevails, delivering a point-blank blast from the BFG-9000 to finish her.

Victory is short-lived. Hayden activates the Tether — an emergency teleportation and control protocol built into the Slayer’s suit. Freezing him in place, Hayden seizes the Crucible and explains that Argent Energy is too valuable to destroy. He won’t let the Slayer undo everything.
With that, the Slayer is teleported to an unknown location, unarmed… but far from defeated.
The war is far from over.
The events of DOOM Eternal take place shortly after the end of DOOM (2016). Despite the destruction of the Spider Mastermind and the closure of the portal, Hell still manages to reach Earth. The planet is engulfed in fire and devastation. Megacities are reduced to ruins, ecosystems shattered, and the remnants of Earth’s military struggle to survive amid the apocalypse. Sixty percent of the population perishes in the first few months, and the demons continue to swarm cities through dimensional gates. Humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction.
Amid this critical moment rises Dr. Samuel Hayden — a former UAC scientist who had transferred his mind into a cybernetic body. He becomes the coordinator of Earth’s resistance, leading the Armored Response Coalition (ARC).

Under Hayden’s leadership, defensive zones are established, and scientific and military resources are restored. He focuses on developing technologies capable of combating the demonic invasion and attempts to localize the threat by orchestrating strategic strikes. However, the ARC HQ is subjected to a massive attack, and Hayden’s physical form is critically damaged. His consciousness is preserved — awaiting rediscovery by the Doom Slayer.
Behind the invasion stands Khan Maykr, ruler of Urdak, once regarded as a celestial realm. She has struck a deal with the demons, granting them the use of Argent Energy in exchange for dominion over soul flows and immortality for the Maykrs. The ritual is maintained by the Hell Priests: Deag Nilox, Deag Ranak, and Deag Grav. Only their destruction can break the demonic hold on Earth.

The Slayer, now residing in the Fortress of Doom, an ancient citadel powered by both Argent and Earth technology, returns to action. His first target is Deag Nilox, the eldest priest responsible for initiating the invasion rites. The Slayer tracks him and executes him without hesitation — broadcasting the act live to terrify the cult.

Next, he heads to the icy UAC Cultist base, where Deag Ranak hides. The base is defended by war machines and elite soldiers, including the Doom Hunters, biomechanical monstrosities. After a grueling battle, the Slayer kills the Doom Hunter and eliminates Ranak.

Meanwhile, VEGA, the AI of the Fortress, reveals that Deag Grav has been moved to Sentinel Prime, the sacred city of the Night Sentinels. It is sealed by both physical and spiritual wards.
The only way to reach it is through an ancient portal buried in Mars’ core. The Slayer formulates a bold plan: he uses the BFG 10,000, a massive orbital cannon, to blast a hole through the planet’s crust. The shot carves a direct path to the portal.
The Slayer travels through the buried ruins of Hebeth, a long-lost Martian site, and finds the gate to Sentinel Prime.
There, within a coliseum once revered by the Sentinels, the Slayer faces the Gladiator — a colossal foe wielding a shield and twin maces.
After a hard-fought duel, the Slayer defeats the beast and executes Deag Grav, violating sacred law but breaking the ritual that maintained Hell’s presence on Earth.

However, a greater threat emerges: the Icon of Sin — a massive hell-forged titan designed to destroy worlds. Its body is reinforced with Argent-infused armor, and at its core lies the twisted soul of the Betrayer’s son. Once a noble ally, the Betrayer betrayed the Sentinels in a desperate bid to resurrect his child. The demons took the soul and trapped it within the titan’s frame.
Despite its purpose as a weapon of last resort, the Icon was sealed away under ancient laws. But now Khan Maykr seeks to unleash it. The Slayer acts swiftly. He travels to Urdak, the once-heavenly realm, through a portal opened from the Fortress. His journey takes him through shattered temples, desecrated bridges, and corrupted citadels, once white and divine, now infested by hellish decay. He battles fallen angels and corrupted constructs made by the Maykrs.
Eventually, he reaches the ritual chamber. Using the Dagger of Betrayal — a gift from the Betrayer — he stabs the seal and unleashes the Icon of Sin in its full, irreversible form. The titan breaks free and warps to Earth.
The Slayer and VEGA follow.
During the breach, VEGA reveals his true nature: he is a fragment of The Father, the original creator of Urdak and the Maykrs. Preserved as a digital consciousness, VEGA’s mission is to restore balance. This revelation gives the Slayer a new purpose: not only to destroy the enemy but to repair creation itself.
The Slayer reaches the central ritual temple, where he confronts Khan Maykr, now transformed into a vast energy entity. Coiled around the core of the ritual machine, she is protected by energy nodes. The Slayer destroys them and strikes her down, collapsing the portal.
But it is not over.
Back on Earth, the Icon of Sin rampages unchecked. It crushes cities, allies, and demons alike. The Slayer engages it in an epic battle across skyscraper ruins and smoldering urban warzones.

Victory.
Hell is defeated — for now. But the cost is high. Urdak has lost its ruler. Energy systems collapse. Portals destabilize. VEGA disappears into the unknown.
Standing among the wreckage, the Slayer knows: this is not the end. Only a pause. His war is not over.
Despite the destruction of the Icon of Sin and the apparent end of Hell’s invasion on Earth, the Doom Slayer’s war is not over. The death of Khan Maykr and the fall of Urdak have allowed Hell to spread into sacred realms, resuming its attack across dimensions.
To stop the spread, the Slayer, joined by Samuel Hayden and ARC scientists, searches for an ancient ally — the Seraphim, known as Samur. Their path takes them across the ocean to the flooded UAC Atlantica complex, where Samur’s pod lies hidden deep beneath the facility. The Slayer cuts through demonic resistance and reaches the pod. When Hayden demands his consciousness be uploaded into it, the truth is revealed: Hayden is the Seraphim, having concealed his identity all this time.
Back aboard the ARC ship, Samur explains that only the Father’s Life Sphere can restore balance. It lies atop Ingmore’s Sanctum, in the Blood Swamps of Hell. The Slayer travels through the swamp’s curses and traps, surviving ancient trials. He reaches the summit, guarded by primeval horrors, and takes the Sphere.
But the Slayer refuses to give it to Samur. Instead, he destroys it. He believes the Father would prevent him from achieving his true goal — to destroy the Dark Lord forever. In its place, he retrieves the Life Sphere of Davoth, the original ruler of Hell. This act weakens Samur, accelerating his corruption.
The Slayer returns to the ARC carrier. Upon seeing the Dark Lord’s sphere, the crew panics and evacuates. Only a lone intern remains to assist. With his help, the Slayer travels to corrupted Urdak, seeking the Luminarium — a device capable of resurrecting life spheres.
On the way, the now-corrupted Seraphim confronts him. They fight, and the Slayer defeats him but shows mercy. Samur disappears.
Finally, the Slayer enters the Luminarium. He ignores the Father’s warnings and resurrects the Dark Lord.
From a cocoon of light steps a figure — identical to the Slayer, with glowing red eyes. He stares into the eyes of his equal. A war that began in ancient time is about to end…
Even after centuries sealed away, the Dark Lord clearly never skipped the gym day.
With the Dark Lord awakened in The Holt, the Slayer receives a final warning from the Father: the coming battle could unravel not just Hell, but the very fabric of reality. Still, the Doom Slayer does not hesitate.
His journey begins in Reclaimed Earth — the shattered remains of overgrown cities, now overrun with nature and demonkind. There, the Slayer battles through ARC remnants and demonic hordes to recover data on the World Spear — a colossal artifact capable of piercing the defenses of Hell’s capital city, Immora.
Argent D’Nur
To reach Immora, the Slayer must activate the Gate of Divum, a portal requiring an ancient energy source. His path takes him to Argent D’Nur, now a desecrated ruin. As he passes through decaying temples and echoing visions of the past, he is confronted by Commander Valen, the Betrayer — now seeking redemption. Valen gifts him the Sentinel Hammer, a divine weapon capable of devastating entire hordes with a single strike.

The ancient signal — the sign of final war — reaches the far corners of the world. Across continents, the Sentinels awaken and rally to their champion.
With his army assembled and the Sentinel Hammer in hand, the Slayer descends into the Spear’s heart — navigating traps, infernal architecture, and arcane defenses. Deep within, he retrieves a crystal charged with Wraith energy — the key to powering the Gate.
Returning to Earth, the Slayer installs the crystal into the long-abandoned UAC base’s generator. The Gate of Divumactivates, tearing a rift through Hell’s defenses and opening a path directly to Immora — the seat of the Dark Lord.

At Immora’s gates, the final war erupts. On one side: demon legions, war machines, corrupted titans. On the other: the Doom Slayer and his revived Sentinel army, led by Valen, the penitent Betrayer. Under heavy fire, amidst collapsed buildings and hellfire storms, the Slayer leads the charge. He smashes through battalions, destroys infernal war engines, and storms Immora’s inner sanctum.

There, within the throne room, he invokes an ancient rite and challenges the Dark Lord to a one-on-one duel — a ritual that forbids aid or technology. The Father warns him again: if the Dark Lord falls, so too shall all demons beyond Hell. But the Slayer accepts.

The duel spans five brutal phases. The Dark Lord mimics the Slayer’s combat style — using his weapons, reflexes, and brutality. They fight through fractured dimensions, remnants of Earth, and broken arenas.
At the decisive moment, the Dark Lord reveals a truth buried for millennia: he is the Primeval, the first being — the origin from which all other forms of existence emerged. His true name is Davoth. He was the creator of Jekkad, an ancient realm that existed long before Urdak. Davoth envisioned a perfect universe but was betrayed by those he had inspired. The Father, a being born as his reflection and rival, stole his power, sealed his essence, and used that stolen force to forge new worlds — including Urdak and everything that followed.
With this revelation, Davoth attempts to sow doubt in the Slayer’s heart, insisting that he — not the Father — was the true source of order. But the Slayer, unwavering in his purpose, remains unmoved. In the final phase of the duel, he triumphs.
When the Dark Lord, wounded and kneeling, asks for final words, the Doom Slayer says nothing. Without a sound, he plunges his blade into the heart of creation’s first god.
With the fall of Davoth, the entire demonic structure collapses: all demons beyond Hell — those on Earth, in Urdak, and across other realms — vanish, as if they had never existed. Balance is restored, and the torn fabric between dimensions begins to heal.
But the Slayer himself does not emerge unscathed. His energy is drained, his armor battered. He removes his helmet and, without a word, steps into a stasis capsule — his body preserved until the next great threat demands his return.
Thus ends the ancient saga — a cycle of vengeance and annihilation brought to a close.
